POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders, receiving reports, bills of lading and entering same into database system in a timely and accurate manner.
B. Filing invoices and supporting documentation in open vendor invoice files.
C. Managing check runs for vendor invoice payments as required.
D. Filing paid vendor invoices with supporting information and check payment stubs in paid vendor invoice files.
E. Retaining vendor invoices with information in the fixed assets file by category.
F. Reconciling accounts payable ledger with accounts payable control ledger account.
G. Interacting with outside vendors.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, SKILLS, BACKGROUND, & EXPERIENCE
A. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of related AP experience.
B. Must have intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and accounting software.
C. Must have strong attention to detail.
D. Good time management and desk management skills are a must.
E. Associate’s Degree in business or related field.
F. Must possess solid verbal and written communication skills.
